Leonia Resort Hyderabad Wedding Cost 2026: Resort Venue Guide

The short answer: what a Leonia Holistic Destination wedding costs

A wedding at Leonia generally runs Rs 40 lakh to Rs 2 crore in 2026. A 300-guest celebration sits around Rs 40 lakh to Rs 75 lakh, a 600-guest multi-day wedding near Rs 75 lakh to Rs 1.4 crore, and a 1,000-to-1,200-guest celebration with full production toward Rs 2 crore. Because guests stay on site at the resort, the room block is meaningful alongside per-plate catering. Leonia’s sweet spot is a large, multi-day resort-style wedding with room to spread across its lawns and halls near the city.

What makes Leonia Holistic Destination special for weddings

Leonia Holistic Destination at Shamirpet, on Hyderabad’s northern edge, is a large resort and convention complex with extensive lawns, multiple banquet and convention halls, a spa and on-site accommodation. Its strength is scale and greenery close to the city: the room to host a big, multi-day wedding across sprawling outdoor and indoor spaces, with guests staying on site for an immersive resort experience without a long journey. The value-friendly per-plate rates make it a sensible choice for large guest lists. For families who want a destination-style celebration with capacity and room to breathe, just outside Hyderabad, Leonia is a popular large-format option.

Spaces and capacities at Leonia Holistic Destination

Leonia publishes one of the largest event inventories in the country, 39 spaces in all. The ten that matter for a wedding are below. Unusually for an Indian venue, Leonia publishes a seated-at-rounds figure for almost every space, which makes it one of the easier properties in this guide to plan against honestly.

What these numbers mean for your guest count

Leonia is the only property in this guide that can seat a genuinely large wedding indoors. LICEC seats 5,000 at round tables, which is not a headline figure but a seated one, and Geo Garden takes 3,000 seated outdoors. For almost any Hyderabad guest list the question here is not whether the space exists but which combination costs least: a 1,000-guest reception fits in Auditorium Yamuna at 1,000 seated, and taking LICEC for the same wedding buys five times the floor area you need. The one row to read carefully is Namrada, published at 1,145 maximum against 300 seated. That is a 3.8 times gap, the widest on the estate, and a guest list quoted against the 1,145 would not sit down. Gaps of that size are common enough that we compiled the published charts of 42 venues to find out how common.

Figures are as published by the property and were checked in September 2026. Venues reconfigure spaces and revise these charts, so confirm the seated figure for your own layout, with a stage and a buffet line included, before you sign. The hotel lists 379 guest rooms, which is the other number that decides how large a multi-night wedding can realistically be.

Leonia Holistic Destination wedding cost breakdown (2026)

Venue and hall hire

Hall and lawn hire across the resort runs roughly Rs 10 lakh to Rs 42 lakh across functions, plus accommodation; a room block adds Rs 12 lakh to Rs 50 lakh. Peak dates and a multi-day, multi-space wedding raise the venue component, while off-peak dates ease both rate and availability.

Catering and per-plate

Through in-house and approved catering, per-plate runs roughly Rs 2,200 to Rs 4,000 in 2026, the most value-friendly of the city’s large venues, which helps for big guest lists. For 600 guests across four functions, food and beverage typically totals Rs 42 lakh to Rs 85 lakh. Hyderabadi Deccani and pan-Indian spreads at scale are a strength; counters drive the figure.

Decor and production

Hall, lawn and stage production usually runs Rs 20 lakh to Rs 58 lakh across functions. The sprawling lawns reward strong stage and mandap focal points, while the greenery itself softens the setting, so spend can stay efficient relative to the scale.

Photography, film and entertainment

Photography and cinematography for a large wedding typically run Rs 5 lakh to Rs 15 lakh. Entertainment adds Rs 5 lakh to Rs 24 lakh. Combined, photography, film and entertainment commonly land around Rs 16 lakh to Rs 45 lakh.

Hospitality, room block and taxes

With guests staying on site, the room block, transport from the city, planner fee, hair-and-makeup and GST together add roughly Rs 22 lakh to Rs 62 lakh. The block, number of nights and coach transport from Hyderabad are the principal levers.

Sample budget: 600-guest wedding at Leonia Holistic Destination (2026)

This budget assumes a 600-guest multi-day resort wedding across four functions with a staying block. A 300-guest celebration compresses toward the lower bound, while a 1,000-to-1,200-guest wedding with heavy production approaches the upper figure. Catering, the room block and venue hire are the anchors.

What the Leonia Holistic Destination quote covers and what costs extra

At Leonia the quote pairs per-plate catering with an accommodation package for the staying block, covering the hall and lawn setup, service and the service charge, at value-friendly rates. Decor and production, photography and film, entertainment, the planning fee, city-to-Shamirpet transport and GST are separate. The room block and venue hire are the defining extras at this scale, and the value per-plate rate keeps catering efficient for big guest lists, so decor, production and the block are where the budget really concentrates.

What pushes a Leonia Holistic Destination wedding cost up or down

Guest count and the number of functions are the primary levers, as catering and the room block scale with them. The value-friendly per-plate rate makes Leonia sensible for very large guest lists. The sprawling lawns keep decor efficient if you concentrate on strong focal points. Transport from the city for day guests and the multi-night block are real lines. A planner coordinates the multi-space layout, the room block and the city-to-Shamirpet transport for a large resort wedding.

Best season and dates to book Leonia Holistic Destination

The Hyderabad wedding peak runs roughly October to February, the cooler months that suit Leonia’s lawn-based functions best, when popular dates book 8 to 12 months ahead. The summer months are hot for outdoor events. For a large multi-day resort wedding on a fixed date, book early, as both the halls and the on-site room inventory are binding for a big guest list.

Guest experience, stay and getting there

Leonia sits at Shamirpet, on the northern outskirts of Hyderabad, about an hour from the city centre and roughly 75 to 90 minutes from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at Shamshabad. Its on-site rooms house the staying guest block, and weddings arrange coaches from the city for day guests. The self-contained resort gives an immersive destination feel near the city, with the trade-off that transport and arrival timing need coordination given the distance. The events team plans arrivals, the block and movement across the resort.

How to book Leonia Holistic Destination and planning lead times

Booking is through the Leonia events and weddings desk. For a peak-season multi-day wedding, start 8 to 12 months ahead. The sequence runs site visit and hall and lawn hold, an F&B plus accommodation package, menu tasting, then decor and logistics sign-off. Velvet Knot manages the multi-space planning, the room block and the city-to-Shamirpet transport for a large resort wedding.
