Mauritius is one of very few destinations where an Indian couple can hold the legal marriage and the celebration in the same place, because its Civil Status Division marries two non-citizens as a matter of routine. The procedure is short, but it runs on fixed document rules, and most problems come from documents that are too old by the time they arrive.
