Frequently Asked Questions
How many cities does it consider?
Twenty-eight, each one a market we plan in and each with a cost index, a set of styles it does well, an accessibility rating and the months it works best.
Why does it rule some cities out?
Usually budget or capacity. A 600-guest wedding does not fit some heritage properties at any price, and some cities carry a cost index that puts them out of reach at a given budget. The tool says so rather than listing them anyway.
Is a destination wedding always more expensive?
No. Moving out of a Tier 1 metro often lowers venue and catering costs enough to offset travel and accommodation, particularly for guest counts under 200.
